Castro (personal) was placed on the bereavement list Wednesday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Castro will be away from the team for the next 3-to-7 days following a fatal car crash involving close friends and family in his native Dominican Republic. The Cubs have not announced who will replace Castro on the active roster.
