Hellickson worked five innings Sunday afternoon versus the Yankees, giving up three earned runs on four hits and a couple of walks while striking out five in a losing effort. Things were going great over the first four frames Sunday afternoon, as Hellickson ran his scoreless streak to 10 innings. However, the Yankees broke through for three runs in the top of the fifth and ultimately chased the Rays' righty from the game after 99 pitches. Hellickson has been mostly solid through five straight turns in the rotation dating back July 26. During this stretch, he has posted a strong 2.63 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 7.6 K/9 across 27.1 innings.
