How do I add an image to the Commissioner's Note?

To add an existing image that exists on the web, you just need to get the image address and then copy that in to the field. The image URL should have an image file ending, such as "football.jpg" or "football.gif" at the end of the URL.

To add a custom image to the Commissioner's Note, you need to first upload your custom image at a site like imgur.com so that you have a web link for it. Imgur does not require you to have an account to upload an image. Follow these steps to upload an image to Imgur:

  1. Click on "New post" and then "Upload Images", and then drag your image to the resulting window.
  2. After your image is uploaded, hover over it, click on the down arrow, and then select "Get share links."
  3. Select the "Markdown (Reddit)" option and copy and paste that into your text editor on your league home page following the steps listed above. Be sure to remove any text that was added beyond the http:// URL.

Additional Image Tips

  • A horizontal image is likely to look better on the page and won't push the Standings section down too much.
  • If you notice that the page is loading slower after an image or animated gif has been added to the page, you may want to use a tool like Photoshop or a site like tinypng.com to compress the image down in size so that it doesn't add extra weight to the page. We recommend trying to keep the image under 100KB in file size.
